Canada’s next generation of international and Olympic champions will compete in the 2017 Canada Summer Games. Spectators, parents and fans will watch the country’s best up-and-coming athletes in action at the sport venues, and experience some of Canada’s best arts and entertainment as part of the Jeux du Canada Games Festival presented by Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries at The Forks.
The Forks is Winnipeg’s meeting place. Nestled in the heart of downtown, The Forks is one of Winnipeg’s most beloved places, at the junction of the Assiniboine and mighty Red rivers. The Forks will host the Games’ festival, where families will celebrate The Hottest Summer in Half a Century with live music, dancing, and cultural activities. The Festival space is the epicentre for many of Winnipeg’s finest concerts and events, including the 1999 Pan Am Games mainstage concerts.
