Hot shots: Day 5 in photos

By Kirsten Neil

On Day 5 we dove in early at Diving, bounced over to Basketball, went hard at Softball, scored at Soccer, and hit the Beach before dancing the night away at the Festival. Doesn’t that sound like a wonderful day? It was! Here’s how good it looked…

Take a leap!

Diving was bouncing yesterday at Pan Am Pool for Men’s and Women’s Springboard events. Congrats to Elaena Nancy Dick from Ontario and Peter Thach Mai from Quebec for taking home GOLD!

Eat, sleep, play Basketball

The Basketball play is getting intense. Wednesday night saw the Semi-Finals in both Men’s and Women’s.

Play ball!

The last of the Qualifications Round was completed yesterday for Men’s Softball at John Blumberg. It’s all sudden-death from now on.

Sand, sweat and cheers

Over at Beach Volleyball, the Abbott sisters (twins!) from Team Manitoba narrowly lost to Team British Columbia in a three-set nail biter. Only two more days to enjoy the beach at Sargent Park
