Prince Edward Island
After a competitive search process, the 2023 Canada Winter Games Co-Chairs, Wayne Carew and Brian McFeely, are pleased to announce that Prince Edward Island native Kyle Dudley has been named CEO of the next Prince Edward Island based Canada Games.
Reporting to the 2023 Canada Winter Games Board of Directors, Kyle will be ensuring the vision and goals identified by Islanders are kept first and foremost in mind as all Islanders prepare to host the 2023 Games.
“Kyle’s extensive experience in logistics management and community outreach will be an invaluable asset to our 2023 team, and Kyle’s management style will really help us amplify THE BIRTHPLACE OF BIG DREAMS spirit the Games will inspire.” Says Brian McFeely and Carew.
Mr Dudley joins the 2023 Canada Winter Games after a very successful career with Compass Group Canada Ltd. in their remote services sector; ESS Support Services Worldwide. Kyle was relied upon for his charismatic leadership and analytical skillset as a project-based lean six sigma certified tactician managing complex projects which included the emergency response/recovery around the Fort McMurray Wildfires, mobilization oversight, and productivity optimization. Also with Compass Group, in his role as Director of Aboriginal Relations and Operational Support for North America, he was very passionate about and thoroughly enjoyed helping develop and shape the firm’s indigenous engagement strategy.
“I have had the opportunity to be mentored and influenced by many leaders in my career. I am looking forward to taking what I have learned and experienced over the years, and having that benefit the PEI Canada Winter Games” said Dudley. “I consider myself very fortunate to have this opportunity to return to the Island to lead these Games.”
Kyle is the son of Gordon and Suzanne Dudley of Stanley Bridge and after 25+ years working in central and western Canada, and the Caribbean, he is pleased to once again call PEI home. Kyle and his wife Jena, and their three children are looking forward to taking advantage of all the island has to offer, especially winter sports and theatre.
