Help us spark greatness in the athletes and leaders of tomorrow and champion more inclusive and sustainable communities from coast to coast to coast. Every two years, the Canada Games bring together more than 2,500 young athletes with and without disabilities in more than 20 sports for the largest amateur multi-sport event in the country. Your generous support of the Canada Games Movement allows us to mobilize the transformative power of sport to:
Empower the next generation of athletes, coaches and officials to reach their full potential on and off the field of play
Support sport development, educational and mentorship programming for women and girls, Indigenous people, visible minorities, people with disabilities and marginalized communities
Implement education initiatives, projects and sustainable practices to reduce the environmental impact of sport hosting
Piers McDonald remembers being intrigued from afar as a youth during the early days of the Canada Games Movement, when the first editions of the Games were staged in Quebec City in 1967 and in Halifax in 1969. That initial curiosity would eventually blossom into a deep personal and professional connection that remains to this day.

"We hear about how the Canada Games 'spark greatness' in the next generation. It’s true. I’ve lived it."
