Canada Games Alumni at Paris Paralympics

The Canada Games Council (CGC) is proud of the role the Canada Games play in long term athlete development, sparking greatness along the high performance pathway and fuelling success on the world stage.

The Paris 2024 Paralympics begin on Wednesday, August 28, and Canada Games alumni will be well-represented.

“As one of very few multi-sport events that include competition for able-bodied athletes, athletes with a physical disability, and athletes with an intellectual disability, we have the privilege of witnessing future Paralympians compete for their provinces and territories at a critical point in their development,” CGC President & CEO Kelly-Ann Paul said. “It makes us incredibly proud of the work we do, in conjunction with our partners, to see so many of our alumni successfully take the next step and compete for Team Canada at the Paralympics.

Best of luck and congratulations to all of Team Canada and our alumni competing at Paris 2024! We will be cheering you on, and we wish for each of you your best performance yet.”

Canada Games alumni from coast to coast to coast make up 42 of the 125 athletes on Team Canada’s final roster. Some athletes are returning to the Paralympics as veterans, while others are making their Paralympic debut after competing at the Canada Games as recently as 2023.

Browse the list below of all 63 alumni (athletes, coaches, and managers) who will compete and coach in Paris for the Paralympics, listed by sport.
