Canada Games alumni have a strong presence among Canada's roster at the 2018 Paralympic Games in PyeongChang. Of the 55 athletes competing, 16 (29%) have used the Canada Games as a stepping stone to future success.

The 2019 Canada Winter Games Host Society is pleased to welcome MNP as a Diamond Sponsor of the 2019 Games, a National Partner of the Canada Games and the presenting sponsor of the MNP Canada Games Torch Relay. Leatherbarrow Primary School in Hampton, NB, 225 children welcomed two-time Paralympic medalist, wheelchair basketball Team Canada captain and Canada Games alumnus Robert “Bo” Hedges to their school assembly for the national kick-off of the Canada Games Activity Challenge: a Canada 150 signature project.
