“Tim Hortons has been a staple of Canadian communities since 1964 and having them partner with the Canada Games - our nation’s premium multi-sport event that enriches Canadian culture and creates lasting legacies - is very exciting,” says David Patterson, President and CEO of the Canada Games Council. “We look forward to teaming up with Tim Hortons where we will transform Canadian communities through sport and volunteerism. Volunteers are the backbone of the Canada Games and having Tim Hortons - who are ingrained in the fabric of Canada - be involved in each volunteer’s journey will be truly special.”
Tim Hortons® will be the presenting sponsor of the 2019 Canada Winter Games’ Volunteer Program where they will be thoroughly involved in the volunteer experience of over 5,000 committed Canadians who make the Games happen.
“Tim Hortons and its Restaurant Owners are proud supporters of sport in all of the communities we serve,” says Chris Wakefield, Regional Marketing & Sponsorships Lead, Tim Hortons Canada. “We are thrilled to be a partner of the 2019 Canada Winter Games in Red Deer, Alberta, and are excited to be able to support the Volunteer Program encompassing thousands of incredible individuals whose hard work and dedication make events like this possible.”
Many activations will take place where Tim Hortons® will engage with volunteers on the ground in Red Deer and throughout Alberta.
